Vocabulary 5C

To tell the truth: opposite of lying.

My neighbor never tells the truth.

Bouncers: people who is taking care of others

My best friend ex-boyfriend is a bouncer

Innonce is bliss:

Wrinkles: marks in your skin when you get older.

Babies don’t have wrinkles, for these reason many women dream havin a baby skin


Closet / ward robe: where you put your cloths

I would like to have a wardrop full of beautiful clothes

Sensitive: when somebody is affected for everything

My friend Laura is extremely sensitive, she always cries with romantic movies

Handicapped: a person who is has a incapacity such as blind people, people who use wheel chairs.

When I was in high school, there was a handicapped student

To anchor: what boats or ship use to ankle in the land.

The Titanic anchor was big.

Beg: when people who live in the streets ask you for money they beg

In Costa Rica has increased the number of people that beg in streets

In Costa Rica is so difficult to guess the weather.

Tin (food): recipient made of metal used to put food in , you can buy them in supermarkets

Anxious: person who is nervous or worry about everything.

Anxious people usually are depressive

Errands: obligations

I need to do a lot of errands such as go to the bank, go to the supermarket, go to the drugstore etc

Rent collector: the person that collect payments in apartments.

My father used to be a rent collector.


Sneaky: intelligent

Sneaky people usually get everything they want, it doesn’t matter how

To count on: when you know that somebody will be there to help you

I always count on my mother, for everything I need.

To mix business with: start doing business with another company.
Hewlett Packard had mixed business with ADS

Do massage

Give massage: give a massage to somebody

People go give massages earn a lot of money

High rise apartment block
